The Northeast Texas Chapter conducts a Basic Concrete Technology
course every fall. The course will be located at the Ellison Miles
Geotechnology Institute at Brookhaven College in Farmers Branch, Texas.
This course consists of about 14 lecture sessions conducted by local industry
leaders in their respective area of expertise.
The course normally includes a session each on cements, aggregates,
supplementary cementitious materials, admixtures, mix designs,
production, testing, as well as problem solving and a look where the
industry is going in the future.
We are proud of this class and feel it is the best way to get a good understanding of concrete as a construction material.
The next course will begin September 28, 2010. Click HERE for full schedule and more information.
Additional information will be posted here and in the Matrix as information becomes available.
